Sponsor a Student
By sponsoring a student at Chiguvare Primary School, you are making it possible for a disadvantaged child to attend school and have the necessary school supplies, and uniform. Your money is helping to develop an underprivileged child and the whole school community by providing an opportunity for them to learn, to grow in their Christian faith, and to provide self-sustaining projects.
The yearly cost to sponsor an orphan student is $300, also available in monthly payments of $25. This covers uniforms, shoes, tuition, and school supplies per year. BOHJ sends school fees to the Zimbabwean schools 3 times a year-December, April, and August. When you make your generous tax-deductible donation, you can specify the gender and age you prefer. We will send you a picture, bio, and personal letter from the child. All of the children are semi-fluent in English, and will enjoy receiving and sending letters. There is also an opportunity to just send in general donations to cater for all the children if one is not interested in sponsoring just one child. We will update you 3 times per year on the BOHJ programs.
Future Projects
As part of our mission as BOHJ, we are currently working to make the aforementioned initiative a reality for the orphans in Zimbabwe. Your generosity and support will make a huge difference in the lives of these children as we, together, embark on building them the best possible home that will shelter them and set them up for success in the future.
